This place on the other hand, they actually do it right. They make homemade root beer daily and it's just amazing. The ice cream is soft serve and extra creamy. These two together in a frosty mug make a float that's second to none. I like going there on Sunday afternoons and enjoy a float while watching whatever sports team happens to be playing.
Great place, great food, great service, and great experience. Cheese curds are very good. Burgers are pretty good too. If you haven't been here before, you need to get the root beer float when you come. It's a great place in the summer.
Very nice staff. Service can get slow if it is busy. Sandwiches are tasty, but are not as big as the pictures. Root beer is the best but drink it now, take home root beer loses its luster quickly. Restaurant is very clean and the soft serve floats are wonderful.
Good service, a bit pricey. Bratwurst was warm and not hot. Cheese curds not as good as Culver's.
I have been going here for many years. If you've gone to an A&W in the mall or some other modern branch and not been impressed by the food or root beer, you would be correct... They stink and I've been disappointed multiple times.
